WCIT | IDECS 2023 will be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) from October 4 - 6, 2023.
The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is Sarawak’s first international purpose-built convention centre. Debuted in 2009, it grew alongside Sarawak’s captivating culture, adventure, and nature. An initiative of the Sarawak Government, BCCK promotes business tourism and has earned local, national, and regional accolades for its professionalism, innovation, and capabilities in hosting conferences.
BCCK, strategically located equidistant from Kuching North & South, is Sarawak’s first purpose-built Convention Centre. Its award-winning architecture draws inspiration from the native ‘ririk’ leaf, reflecting the region’s blend of nature and modernity.
BCCK prioritises accessibility, featuring elevators to all floors, ramps for wheelchair users, and handicap stalls. The fully equipped first aid room on Level 2 ensures safety, and staff are trained in first aid and fire safety response.
Situated on the Kuching Isthmus and ringed by the Sarawak River, the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching is approximately fifteen minutes’ drive from the city centre and twenty minutes’ drive from the Kuching International Airport.
